Books For Cooks at Rolling Hills Estates Oct. 24, 2009

Posted by: Beach Reporter In: california| dining| events

Rolling Hills Estates–It’s a short sale lasting only a couple hours but from Noon to 2 p.m. on Sat., Oct. 24,  the public can browse over 1,000 cookbooks and purchase their favorites during a book fundraiser called Books for Cooks. This is the first annual event so we hope they’ll expand the hours in the future and make it a day of entertainment. For South Bay locals, or Southern California weekend getaway options, make it part of  a weekend vacation. If you have over $500 to spend, you can try the new Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, but better yet, get a waterfront room just a few miles away in Redondo Beach at the Crowne Plaza for approx 1/5th the price. See rates at Crowne!
