Huntington Beach 4th of July Parade & Fireworks Schedule

The new schedule and parade line up for th 105th Huntington Beach 4th of July Parade has been posted on the official Huntington Beach Events calendar. The Parade Grand Marshal will feature Miss America 2009, Katie Stam.

A Pier Plaza Expo launches the weekend event July 3 and will continue through July 5th. The Parade and Fireworks Show over the Huntington Beach Pier start with the 10 a.m. parade and free fireworks show just after sunset. For $10 you can still buy tickets for seating to watch the fireworks on the Huntington Beach Pier.

I love this parade. I grew up in Huntington Beach and remember that they had the fireworks show at some stadium. I think it was the Huntington Beach High School. I don’t know why they moved it but I bet it is wonderful watching the fireworks over the Huntington Beach Pier. I don’t think there’s a more perfect place to have this. I wish I was there. I live on the East Coast now. I’m thinking about my buddies in HB. Surfs up, my friends.
