Maria’s Italian Kitchen in Downtown Los Angeles

Posted by: Beach Reporter In: california| dining

What’s new in downtown L.A.? Maria’s in town and she brought the kitchen sink. No, it’s another entry into the mid price range meal with a versatile menu to suit every business deal. We sampled some items from the menu recently and found the service, quality of food, and price were all perfect. How to find it? Just take the Metro from the airport and other places. As a bonus to your visit, you may run into Maria!

Maria’s is one of my favorite Italian restaurants. The service can’t be beat. And the food has always been served to perfection. I highly recommend it, and I’m 50 pounds overweight to prove it. I just love food…and Italian is in my roots.

The bar is pretty small, I have to say. But it’s a nice little watering hole to drop by for a drink and unwind after a tough day. I pick up a light dinner with the half price menu and a beer. I have never had lunch there, but I’ll check it out.
