Balboa Inn is situated on a shady, tree-lined street
at the foot of the beach and Balboa Pier in Newport Beach, CA. Looking down across the street,
you can see historic Balboa Pavilion. There's so much to do here
without driving a car that we find this place must have been created for
fun. The hotel swimming pool is right next to the beach where you
can step outside the hotel and be right on the sand to catch the sunrises
and sunsets firsthand, if you opt for getting out of your room.
There's
a rental kiosk right there that rents skates, bikes and other beach gear.
Walk out your door and there's a local bar and pub that has been serving
up jazz and great local bands for years. Walk across the street to the
Pavilion to enjoy the Fun Zone rides, arcades, harbor cruise, ferry boat
ride and the Catamaran departing and returning once a day for Catalina
Island.
Great little surf and gift shops, fantastic dining, two piers
where you can stroll or fish for free, a bike and jog path and the pleasurable
weather found only in this premier location are going to bring you much
happiness on your vacation.. Balboa Inn is not a big hotel chain.
It's charming, friendly and offers possibly the best location of any Newport
Beach property for sun lovers and beachcombers.
