One of Southern California's most popular beach cities, Hermosa Beach, offers this fantastic "resort" right on The Strand, right on the Sand. They don't call it a resort, but it just as well be one. You won't find a more convenient, more enjoyable and well located property to stay at, in the South Bay region of Los Angeles. 

 

Located next door to restaurants, the pier, shops, and overlooking the pier and beach, this hotel has everything you could need for a beach stay.  They provide radios, refrigerators, beach balconies on the ocean view rooms, fireplaces and there's even a penthouse at reasonably priced rates in the off season. 

We have not stayed here but are tempted to do so very soon. It is one hotel on our growing list of spots we want to try out. From the looks, location and offerings, we recommend you give it a try.  There aren't too many places on the beach in this region, so it's nice to find something that offers the beach at your door, along with amenities.
