Laguna Beach Hotels, California—Surf and Sand Hotel is the tall
building with many balconies seen in the distance from this Laguna Beach
Main Beach perspective. As you follow the beach below the hotel, you'll
notice a grouping of blue umbrellas. That's the beach where you can enjoy
the sand outside your door when you stay at that resort.
Surf and Sand is built so that just
about everyone gets an ocean view from their room. But what's especially
nice is the beach below. For beach lovers such as ourselves, Laguna Beach is the
beach destination, hands down. Huntington Beach features several nice
properties but nothing directly on the sand. Newport Beach offers several hotels
on the sand such as Balboa Inn but there aren't a lot of hotel rooms at the
beach. Balboa Bay Club has its own small bayside beach but nothing like
the colorful action you'll see in Laguna. Dana Point features the Ritz-Carlton,
Laguna Niguel, which is another fantastic resort property.
Nevertheless, we choose Laguna Beach
as the preferred beach hotel destination in Orange County...it's our number
one choice, anyway.
