Video of Victoria Beach beach shows a beautiful
entryway with log posts, bougainvillea flowers of bright red and
the Pacific Ocean beyond a set of steps. Wood's Cove is one of
Laguna Beach's favorite hide-aways.
Victoria Beach is by no
means an easy access cove and beach. First, there's a parking
issue. If you should be so lucky as to find a spot to park
nearby, then hey, you got it!
Also, it sometimes takes
either an insider's know of which houses to walk between to
access the beach, then wander down the paved path between the
houses and climb down the steps to "voila!" a beautiful beach
that's surrounded by houses, and fronts the ocean from the
fairly expansive cove. In the summer there are colorful
umbrellas that dot the beach, and a quilt-work of towels of
orange, pink and green that create patterns on the sand like one
giant blanket.
Kids love to wander to the
ocean's edge, and parents love to watch their charges,
discussing the daily events in their lives, reading a book and
soaking up the sun in Laguna Beach's fragrant air. The
mountains and canyons offers scents of nature such as the smell
of the ocean, tall grasses and eucalyptus.
The next time you visit
Laguna Beach, if you wish to seek Victoria Beach, be prepared to
walk across the busy Pacific Coast Highway to get there, or have
someone drop you off it that can be arranged. A free public bus
does run along this stretch and may be the tourist's best bet
for checking it and many other beach out.
Laguna Beach videos
offer a glimpse into the lifestyle of the beach made famous by
many shows such MTV's Laguna Beach.
