Video shows strolling down Main Street to
the beat of people, food and beachin' fun.
Diver's Cove Beach in Laguna Beach
is shown in the video above. From the top of a set of steps, the camera
pans the sea, and watches people descend toward the ocean and beach. Easily accessible via a set of well-maintained stairs, the
beach offers stunning views of the Pacific Ocean that Laguna Beach is so
known for. Diver's Cove is known (as you might expect) for diving. The
undertow is strong here and caution is advised. Located on the north end
of the city of Laguna Beach, there are parking meters and parking spaces
above the beach. They require a quarter for each 15 minutes.
Diver's Cove is near the Laguna
Beach Lawn Bowling facility and not far from Heisler Park, another beach
and park with picnic tables, barbeques and grass lawns called Picnic
Beach. Diver's Cove is surrounded by beach Shaw's Cove, Boat
Canyon and Picnic Beach. Around the bend from these great
beaches is the Main Beach and a dining favorite, Las Brisas restaurant
with indoor and patio seating overlooking the ocean.
When visiting, summers are mild
and pleasant. Bring a sweater for potentially cool evenings. In
the winter you may need a jacket, depending on the daytime temps that
can range from 75 to mid-60s. Wear sturdy, comfortable shoes for
walking on the stairs and rocky beaches. Bring a camera, some sunblock,
shirt sleeves and get ready for some Laguna Beach fun.
For getting around, you can park
and walk, or hop aboard the free Laguna Beach trolleys that take you up
and down coast highway.
