Picture San Pedro at sunset.
And where's the best place to watch? Try Orange County beaches for a
sunset that is simply awesome!
One of the favored spots to capture
photos of sunsets over the San Pedro and Rancho Palos Verdes hills is from
The OC,
Orange County. Look for a hilltop (you
can find them in Seal Beach, Huntington Beach and Newport Beach), and begin
shooting with a telephoto lens, once you notice those golden sunsets or
magic moments.
Sunsets over San Pedro are a dream. If
you can picture a huge orange globe dropping like a beach ball behind the
mountain peaks of San Pedro, you'll discover one of the most memorable
Southern California sunsets and greatest sunset photo ops in the Southland.
From Long Beach in LA County, to Seal
Beach, Sunset Beach, Huntington Beach and Newport Beach in Orange County,
the views of the coast yield a gem to adore, the San Pedro and the
Palos Verde Peninsula.
In addition to making one of our favorite
sunset pictures to take, the drive through the Palos Verdes Estates and
Rancho Palos Verdes is just awesome. You can begin by taking a red car ride
in San Pedro or visiting the Korean Freedom Bell, then heading down Paseo
del Mar, which ends at a small road that joins the main ocean throroughfare,
Palos Verdes Drive.
This picture above is taken near the
Ocean Colony gated home complex overlooking the Pacific Ocean near Seapoint
Street in Huntington Beach, California.
Note that the camera picked up a little
lens flare on the photo above. Photoshopping the image could easily remove
that, but we adhere to the guidelines of the affiliated organization,
National Press Photographers Association, and try to keep nature and the
inherent qualities and challenges of visual documentation in tact.
