Redondo Beach, Calif.--Everything
comes at a price, whether in or out of L.A. Hotels at the beach are no
exception to this rule, as evidenced by the rates we examine on a daily
basis. Shown above is sunset going down behind the
Portofino Hotel in Redondo Beach. This is the luxury hotel of
Redondo Beach, according to pricing. But it isn't the only hotel in town
with sunset views--and the other,
Crowne Plaza, though lacking some of the finer appointments
that "up" the experience provided Portofino, is the value hotel that
provides affordable vacations. It is also quite popular with flight
attendants and pilots.
Redondo Beach is only a few minutes from Los Angeles International
Airport, you can be on vacation and having the time of your life in
Redondo Beach. For tourists (and locals) it is often overlooked. But is
shouldn't be. The best aspects of this beach vacation are the
restaurant options, beach exercise paths accessing a number of South Bay
favorite haunts, and the hotels that provide views of the bay.
Another "best" when it comes to staying in Redondo Beach is the
price. Generally a value compared to the more known beaches nearby, why
would you want to overlook Redondo Beach? If you want views,
you'll get them from several hotels--Crowne Plaza, and Portofino.
