A Honda S2000 fits well in the Sunset Beach Christmas NO
Parade. Silver bells ring in the holidays as the driver of this
beautiful Chicane Silver Metallic car looks very festive in his
antler hat.
Southern California is all
about cars, so when you decide to visit or be a part of the NO
Parade, you need to make a statement about your vehicle. The
sportier cars figure it's enough just to show up and drive in the
parade for fun. Why not. It's a non-event that's not official.
Sunset Beach is where car pros
live or hang out at the little local bars and clubs. From famous car
designers to detailers, you find them sharing drinks, darts, songs
and spirits in many of the local haunts that could tell you of many
Christmases past, if only the walls could talk.
Along the Sunset Beach strip
are the likes of Monster Garage fame, Jesse James. He owns a West
Coast Choppers, and was known for creative car assemblages on a TV
show that finished its last episode in 2006. James is married to
actress Sandra Bullock, and they own a home in Sunset Beach.
There's no justice in the fact
that a crazed fan almost ran over the poor man with a car near his
house in Sunset.
In the NO parade, there are
utility vehicles, fire trucks, sports cars, California classics and
even the
General Lee.
Where to
Stay is up to you in Sunset Beach, but since there are only
3 Sunset Beach Hotels, the choices are elementary. Beach, bay, beach.
