Fun Puts New Meaning in Real Fun
Orange, Calif.--Fun never felt so "wheel".
You can peddle on the water with a supersized
inflatable 3-wheel bicycle, or you can pack
family & friends into a covered peddle cart
where one or two riders must power it by
peddling and getting the vehicle's wheels
spinning. Two activities provide a world of fun
in Irvine Regional Park, Orange County's
historic park where kids and families go to have
fun.
In addition to a top notch train ride for
kids and adults, the park features a Orange
County Zoo, vast areas for picnics, a small and
friendly lake where you can rent a water craft
and enjoy the ride, and the newest concession
rage--the Wheel Fun Rentals "toys" that allow
you to peddle both on water and on land.
Irvine Park Railroad operates Wheel Fun Rentals® at Irvine Park.
The following bikes are available to rent
by the hour:
Single Surrey - Bike with canopy seats up to three adults and two children

Deuce Coupe - Seats up to two adults and two children with canopy
·
Quad Sport - Four-wheeled bike for a single rider
·
Tandem Bike - Bicycle built for two
·
Chopper - Three-wheeled bike for a single rider
·
Cruiser Bike - Single rider bike
· Kid’s Bike - Single rider bike for children
Rentals are located adjacent to the historic Boathouse next to the lake.
Children 18 years of age and younger are required to wear a helmet when riding a bike. Helmets are provided at no additional cost. Helmets are also provided at no additional cost to any individual upon request.
Irvine Park Rentals also rents paddle boats. Each paddle boat seats up to three people. Children 13 years of age and younger are required to wear a life jacket. Life jackets are provided at no additional cost. Life jackets are also provided at no additional cost to any individual upon request including to those who cannot swim.
From March 20th through September 6th (summer season) bike rentals are open daily from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (weekdays) and 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (weekends). From September 7th through March 19th (off season) bike rentals are open weekends and holidays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
