Orange County Beach Sunbathing
Are you looking for the premiere sunbathing beaches in California?
Look no further than Orange County. The name itself indicates healthy
orange, as in oranges that once prominently dotted the landscape of the
40-mile beachfront county named after a healthy fruit.
But though some believe Orange County is a little fruity, the beaches
are out to prove that misconception wrong. As you park your car, hop off
a train (in San Clemente), or get off the public buses that run along
Pacific Coast Highway, you are welcomed to miles upon miles of glorious
sand.
And that's what the county of plenty is known for best (in addition
to Disneyland, of course!) There's probably not one county in California
better situated for vacation and beach pleasure.
The best time to sunbathe is the summer. The weather runs warm from
March to November, though even December through February can bring some
pleasant heat spells ideal for beach sunbathing.
Need a bathing suit, trunks or bikini? The shops along the beach
cities have swimsuits you can buy all year long. So when you arrive,
make a shopping spree part of your pleasure. Then head for the beach and
get ready for some tanning extraordinaire!
The beach cities and towns in Orange County where you can sunbathe
include from north to south:
