It is reported
that kings, dignitaries and celebrities have all tried out this
luxury resort in Laguna Beach...and some, no doubt, may have
swam in this pool that overlooks the Pacific Ocean at Montage
Resort & Spa. This is not a hotel for the average traveler.
If you plan don't mind spending around $600 per night, however,
then by all means this is around the average lowest price for a
room with tax and parking fees included.
Nothing can beat beautiful
Laguna Beach for vacations. You can travel up and down the coast
and search till you find something comparable. Tidepools, art
galleries, a free trolley, luxurious surroundings, spa
treatments and the finest accommodations just make you feel
special. Add to the location, the Laguna Beach surroundings. The
city sits on coastal cliffs and embankments that end at the sea.
As you stand at the beach and look away from the ocean, you'll
see small mountain peaks scattered with little houses built into
the hillsides and mountain slopes.
Life can be charming, indeed. This swimming pool with its unique
design and lap pool rectangular shape is surrounded by expensive
red brick. You'll rarely see such treatments, even in luxury
resorts in California. Brick grout is difficult to maintain and
keep mold-free, and the red absorbs heat. So confident were the
builders about their weather and maintenance services, they went
for the finest looks.
The tile work inside the
pool includes pleasing aqua, blue and lime green shades that
make you feel like a drink of limeade. Points extending from a
half circle look like the sun's rays extending outward.
Surrounding the soothing pool on the deck are white lawn chairs
with white umbrellas for shade. Towels and
poolside service are
to be expected in this mellow hilltop pool.
On the beach below
you'll find additional swimming, sunbathing and sand beaches.
