Huntington Beach, Calif.―The Mai Tais band from Huntington Beach is a high energy band sure to please. Attempting to create a live album in Huntington Beach at Surf City Saloon, the recording quality was not up to par, so they are working on getting that type of raw energy recording upcoming.

We saw them play at a public event, the Huntington Beach car show, Concours d'Elegance held each first weekend in June. For a small band of only three members, their sound offers swift, precision performance that is a mix between surf and rock. It's appeal crosses several sound barriers, making it a crowd pleaser.

The band members include Ray Bradley, guitar; Ian Cooke, drummer; Rich Atkinson, bassist. If you're a regular to the SoCal music scene, the MaiTais have played Martini Blues, plus many concerts and events.
