Land's End Beach
Land's End Beach in San Francisco is one of the lesser known and
visited beaches because of its tucked away location. The
secluded San Francisco beach is flanked by dramatic cliffs west
of Lincoln Park and is accessible via a steep and treacherous
trail, especially if you are wearing sandals or heels. Best to
have on a sturdy set of shoes for hanging tight to the trail and
watching yourself! While the trail system along the bluffs
overlooking the beach is a great walk and filled with natural
beauty so close to the bustling city, the beach itself is
definitely worth finding and checking out.
You can bring your dog (on leash) and enjoy picnics, nature
walks, and almost always a hefty breeze (dress in layers with
something warm on cool days!).
Swimming is prohibited due to dangerous conditions. Park your
car at West Fort Miley where there are facilities, or you
can also look for parking at El Camino Del Mar, and the Cliff
House.
