Laguna Woods came into being when a bunch of seniors decided that their huge community would be more fairly represented as its own entity. Leisure World residents got out and voted and were largely responsible for the formation of Laguna Woods. As a result of this unique development, there isn't much for tourists to see or do in Laguna Woods. The only thing you may wish to see, however, is its one hotel that's available for booking and stays. Nearby activities and attractions include shopping and dining.
