Huntington
Beach 4th of July Pier Expo
Huntington Beach, Calif.―4th
of July Parade, Fireworks and Pier Expo are really the official
launch of summer in the Orange County beach town of 200,000. On
parade day alone, it's estimated approx. 250,000 attend and view
the parade. The beach also enjoys a full crowd, and the Pier
Plaza expo (shown in the photos above), really adds sizzle to
the bang with Hebrew National All Beef Hot Dogs Jumbo and other
delicious delights.
In

Huntington Beach (California) 4th of July Pier Expo includes hot
dogs, energy drinks, KFC coupons for chicken wings and more
things to look at, buy, taste and enjoy on the annual Parade &
Fireworks Day celebration.
Though generally having the
appearance of a casual fair with a variety of tables, displays
and tent tops, the event gives an extra blast to the long day
that begins for folks lining up on the parade viewing route as
early as the night before. Most generally head out around 8 a.m.
on July 4 to stake a seat, or find parking for their car.
Thus the day-long expo not
only feeds the mind with eye candy during the in-between times
when no scheduled event of interest is happening, but it also
nourishes the hungry parade marchers, beach attendees and all
who spend the entire day in the sun, just having fun on the 4th
of July.
Each year the vendor expo is
held on the 4th of July day (it began several years ago), as an
opportunity to bring in additional revenue to fund the parade
that's largely paid for by a non-profit organizing group that
includes a board that operates under the umbrella of the City of
Huntington Beach. Support for the vendor expo helps fund all the
fun that hundreds of thousands of people enjoy and look forward
to each year.
Other events in
Huntington Beach include races, volleyball, paintball,
surfing, swimming and concerts, mostly free. When you want a
summer of fun, you'll find Huntington Beach offers one of the
finest outdoor experiences. But there are some popular outdoor
attractions not to be missed, such as
Legoland for the kids, and
Disneyland for all ages.
