Sunset Beach's holiday parade needs beauty queens. Put three
cute girls in an open top convertible bright red Ford Mustang
with a green Christmas bulb and candy cane bow in the back, and
you've got the ingredients for a NO Parade entry.
A convertible with three
pretty girls is all a parade needs to round out the entries.
Take a bright red Ford Mustang convertible, and fill it with "beauty
queens" for a perfect parade. The trouble with the Sunset Beach
holiday parade is that it's pretty dark, so you really can't see
most the folks in the cars and trucks that traverse the "parade
route." The flash on a camera really filled in the blanks on this
particular attraction shown in the photo above. Simply understated,
the car entry and sweet girls are just perfect for a NO Parade.
While they would easily
qualify as beauty queens on any parade you'll watch or find, they
took their time to come out and enjoy the Sunset Beach Christmas
holiday parade event, which gets our vote for most attractive entry.
Sunset Beach is a community that's unincorporated. It has no high
school, nor grade school, though there's a nursery school in town.
Students must go down the road a bit to Huntington Beach to attend
school. While Huntington Beach's Huntington Harbour is directly
across the street, their are no schools for HB students in this
section of the city, either. They, likewise, must head to the
inland side of the harbor for an education.
