Auction! August 2, 2008
Greenspace - The Cambria Land Trust 20th Annual Art and Adventure Auction offers
guests the opportunity to bid on travel adventures as a fund-raiser.
Ranging from an expedition to Alaska to see the polar bears and other wildlife
led by naturalists, to an 8-day whale-watching cruise to Baja from Lindblad
Expeditions, plus vacations in San Francisco, Big Sur, Hawaii, Mexico,
Washington, Galapagos on one of the most luxurious yachts cruising the
Galapagos, the travel adventures are practically endless in this Greenspace
auction.
Art work will also be auctioned,
including scenic paintings and other such items that are popular gifts for art
collectors. Art and Adventures will be sold using Silent and Live Auction
formats. Visa, MasterCard, and checks accepted. Art is donated by
nationally recognized artists, many from the Central Coast. Media usually
includes photography, oils, watercolors, and art glass. The money
raised in this auction goes to support Greenspace's efforts to preserve coastal
creeks, forests and open spaces along the Central Coast of California.
Located on the beautiful Cambria coast of Central California, the afternoon
event will be held at Cambria Veterans' Memorial Building, 1000 Main Street from
2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Admission to the event is $15, which includes
