Trio with seagulls and palms at the California Beach in this
picture gallery image above, taken from a travel photo.
Taken from the slant of the
beach near the water looking up to the sand berm, the photographer
sees a lady wearing a bright red jacket and a scarf, shown in the
photo above. A family of three wanders with their hands in their
pockets to stay war, and the stop and pause to look around. It's a
sunny day in Southern California and the beach is nice...just a
slight chill brushes over you as you soak it all up.
The picture shown is a real
photograph. By applying a filter or two, we've given the gent
anonymity, and created a more abstract representation of the beach
experience.
The location for this image is
next to a hotel, the
Hyatt
Regency Resort in Huntington Beach. The hotel isn't directly on
the sand, but overlooks it with a bridge path crossing over the
coastal highway 1, known as PCH (not Publishers Clearing
House), but Pacific Coast Highway,
The hotel hosts many corporate
team building events,
bonfires, marshmallow roasts to make s'more and offers the
closeness to their guests who can head out in their workout gear and
jog for 10 or 20 miles.
On the day this picture was
taken, much driftwood had washed onto the beach. It was slightly
windy and a bit chilly. We always recommend you bring a jacket on a
beach vacation. Travelers have the misconception that it's always
warm at the beach. Err on the side of cool, and you'll be fine on
your next California beach vacation... and bring some pockets to put
your hands into, just in case it's slightly chilly.
