Best California Beaches List Most Expensive Hotels
It's that time of year again when CaliforniaBeaches. com rolls out its top
five lists of beach favorites in California. Each year we celebrate the
return of tourists to the beach with an in-depth study of the beaches, trends
and favorite attractions in California. There are few surprises this year,
except for a noteworthy grand opening of beach hotels.
Ranking as the
most expensive beach hotel to launch in 2009 (to date) is the Resort at
Pelican Hill, where the cheapest accommodations begin around $695 per night.
Launched during a recession, it is no wonder the resort is already offering
discounts and packages just months after launch.
If anyone tries to tell you the wealthy are not impacted by the recession, I
will ask why, then, the Montage Resort in Laguna Beach is cutting back hours for
staff, and why the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel and
St.
Regis Monarch Beach Resorts both have rooms under $400 heading into
summer.
Our best beach hotel values will be coming in the next installation. We'll
also offer best dog beaches list, best beaches in California list, and best free
events and best road trips and drives.
Stay tuned!
