In search of the holidays, the
best decorations at Avila Beach were to be found at the Avila La Fonda
with its Christmas tree and door with wreath.. I asked the desk
person if there would be a ceremony and she thought there would be.
Around the bend from the beach,
the popular Avila Valley Barn sells beautiful cut Christmas trees
seasonally. On the holiday Thanksgiving weekend, cars are lined up to
park and check out the trees and activities for kids such as a petting
