The photo above was manipulated to
appear as a piece of artwork. Sometimes
life is just a bit too literal at
our California Beaches so we depart from
the normal California vacation guide to
show you what life may look like using
your imagination.
On
your vacation, be sure to stop and look
at the Huntington Beach Pier shown
above, along with a centered palm tree.
When visiting the beach, the colors can
be stripped because of the shades of our
California ocean waters and the way they
seem to blend into the sky. Unlike other
world beaches where you may see
prominent greens and aquamarine hues in
the water bodies, California's Pacific
Ocean ranges mostly in the grayish
blues, to yellow-green tones.
In
this picture above that we show you in
its original, plus several other options
for transformation, on the bottom left
is the roof top of a popular restaurant,
Duke's Huntington Beach, named after
Duke Kahanamoku, the U.S. ambassador of
surfing to the mainland USA.
The image was originally photographed
with a nikon digital. After-effects
prominently utilized a charcoal filter.
