Sunset Beach
playgrounds offer protected fun for the young
Sunset Beach--The beach playground in Sunset Beach
is located near Ramada Limited Oceanfront hotel. It's ideal for keeping
small children satisfied on vacation trips to the beach. Sunset
Beach is an Orange County operated beach with lifeguard service,
volleyball nets, ample restroom facilities, showers, windsurfing,
kayaking across the street in Huntington Harbour and of course, the
playground for kids. Restaurants and pubs are located within walking
distance, as are fast food restaurants such as Jack in the Box.
The fenced facility
is in the center of the greenbelt where free parking is available to
beach-goers during the day. The affordable beach hotel next door to this
kid-friendly playground is especially popular for families with young
children. The accommodations are not fancy but the location, free
parking and beach on site make this a great choice for those not
desiring 4 or 5 diamond quality.
Sunset Beach is an
unincorporated community in north Orange County, California. Located
south of Seal Beach and Surfside, many houses reside on sand beaches,
with hotels, restaurants and shops situated along Pacific Coast Highway,
the primary road passing through this one mile stretch of land. The
100-year-old community is located north of Huntington Beach.
Sunset Beach is home
to the Junior Lifeguard program for kids and is ideally located a few
miles south of Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific, Alamitos Bay, Naples
gondola rides and boats to Catalina Island. It is also 18 miles from
Disneyland theme parks in Anaheim.
