beach swings & playgrounds
Newport Beach swings and playgrounds on the beach offer kid
friendly family vacations in Southern California
Newport Beach beaches are kid-friendly.
From the local residents who enjoy taking the children for daily play to the
evening swing at sunset with some other kids, Newport Beach beaches invite
parents with children to come share the joy of nature in a beautiful place with
their toddlers and youth. Allowing them to wear of calories, gain an
appreciation for the beaches and outdoors, and let the sea mist make them sleepy
for a a peaceful night at home or back at your hotel, the best beach playground
we've found is next to the Balboa Pier at Balboa Beach.
Public parking with meters
accepting quarters is located right next to the lot as seen in the picture on
top. Restroom facilities are also right there, a must for kids who can't predict
when it's time to go till they suddenly know. From climbing to sliding and
swings for youth, adults and babies, the playground isn't complex but it is
nicely constructed and as safe as any modern playground can possibly be.
Just a few feet away you'll
find cement access to the Balboa Pier with a family-friendly Ruby's 50's style
diner. The sandy shoreline where the ocean washes over your feet is also
right there. There are a few other playground at beaches in Newport Beach, but
this one offers the most parking and entertainment, plus restrooms, in one
place.
