Girls on Film, Cameraman Just Out of View

Just out of view of this photo is a video film crew and a camera trained on these lovely ladies. Top beaches for filming in California include Venice, Santa Monica, Manhattan Beach and Malibu.

Located within the zone for film crews and production companies in the Los Angeles area, many of the the movies with the beach genre were filmed at Los Angeles beaches. Oftentimes the popular shows such as Sunset Beach, The OC and Laguna Beach include filming in other cities. A soap opera called Sunset Beach, for example, was actually filmed in Seal Beach. The girls above were most likely being filmed for some promotional firm they were being paid to hand out products for.

Beach Photo Tips: There is a chance that sand will get into your camera. Take reasonable precautions when at the beach, such as only changing batteries or memory in an enclosed area rather than in harm's way.  Unlike dust, sand can scratch your lens. And a scratched lens will show up on your photographs. Be extra careful to keep your lens cover on and place your camera away when not in use.

Many beaches will require licenses for photo shoots with models...unless you come on those rare days where the crowds are thick and the cameras are snapping away. For student courses and the unplanned photo capture of a magic moment, pretty girl or soothing beach scene, just  take the picture.
