Center, Los Angeles, CA--The Old West lives at our California
Beaches. These rough and ready dudes live in two worlds. They go
to work, enjoy the beach and take care of their families. But a voice
inside them speaks of a different time. Many people share their thoughts
as the Old West lives within their hearts. These gentlemen helped kick
off the celebration of a new book in the works called "How the West Was
Worn." Joining in the celebration were emcees, TV reporter
and author, Leonard Maltin, and Miss Rodeo California.
World Class Autry Museum of Western
Heritage offers special events such as cowboys in the real Old West outfits
pictured above. It is a gem in the center of it all. Right across the street
from the Los Angeles Zoo, just down the road from Universal Studios Hollywood,
Autry Museum of Western Heritage is a fever youu'll want to catch.
