Buena Park is one of Orange County's most fun cities and assets. While Anaheim's Disneyland developed its personna as the fantasy home of Mickey Mouse and Sleeping Beauty, Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park adopted the grit and toughness of the Old West. Developing the theme park that includes stage coach rides & gold panning with extreme thrill rides and Camp Snoopy, it is a completely different experience. In addition to the roller coasters, water plunges and summer theme park Soak City, Buena Park also features Pirates Dinner Adventure. Like the fried chicken dinners and berry pies that made Knott's famous, you can select from a'la cart menus of things to see and do when visiting the entertainment city just 15 to 20 minutes from Disneyland.

Like Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park appeals to all ages. Some come to have a picnic and see the replica of Independence Hall in Pennsylvania, study the archives and experiences of a ghost town inside the theme park or wander through collector and Western-themed shops without ever stepping foot on a thrill ride. But for kids, the rides are the main attraction in Buena Park, as is Pirate's Dinner Adventure. Using a replica pirate ship with planks, ropes and water moats, the audience dines on a meal while cheering for their pirate team that competes on stage. Interactive by design, you could be munching on dessert and be called on to pull the ropes for the flag that your team must raise. It's a blast for all ages, and extremely popular with teens.

When visiting Buena Park, you'll have the beach a 25 minute drive away, Disneyland 15 to 20 minutes nearby, John Wayne / Orange County Airport 20 minutes distance, and Universal Studios and other Hollywood attractions all within reach. Vacation hotels located near the Knott's Berry Farm theme park serve travelers, as do the many hotels in Anaheim near Disneyland.
