Disneyland Hotel is one of three hotels in the Anaheim-Disneyland
family. The other two are Paradise Pier Hotel (next door) and Grand
Californian Resort located across the street. Disneyland Hotel provides
a resort atmosphere with its conference facilities, nightly water show, koi ponds, miniature boats guests can navigate, restaurants with
opportunities to meet the Disney characters, monorail station providing
direct entry into the theme park, Airport Bus pick up and drop off
location and Downtown Disney outside the hotel door. It includes fun restaurants
such as Goofy's Kitchen, Disney's PCH Grill, Granvilles
Steak House, Yamabuki (Japanese), Hook's
Pointe & Wine Cellar and Monorail Cafe.
Also located at the Disneyland Hotel is a
beautiful gazebo and grass lawn where wedding ceremonies are held, photo
exhibits with pictures of famous people who have visited Disneyland and
several gift shops where Disneyland gift items are sold.
While there are dozens of hotels
surrounding the gates of Disneyland, this hotel is one of the favorites
for theme park vacations. The hotel includes a main building and
several others that share a common courtyard where the swimming pool,
restaurants, koi ponds, waterfalls and water shows are.
