Hometown Jamboree
On the first Saturday of each month (from May to
November), Rileys at Los Rios Rancho puts on an old-time
music variety show, just like those great old radio and
TV shows of the 40s and 50s. There’s one difference —
they throw in a hearty family-style dinner to boot!
The Rileys Mountaineers Band is normally featured at
this event, though there are other guest performers such
as pictured above when the O'Brien family performed. At
the Hometown Jamboree, families can tuck into a tasty
meal and enjoy a hand-clappin’, knee-slappin’, toe-tappin’
good time as Riley’s Mountaineers and special guest
performers pick, fiddle and sing their favorite oldtime
bluegrass, western, and gospel tunes, as well as a few
surprises along the way.
Guest musicians are always welcome to tote along an
instrument or two and join in the freewheeling jam
after the show. You never know who’ll turn up, or what
you’ll hear next.
Come on up for some chicken and pickin’! At
our reasonable adult and kid prices, it’s the best meal
– and deal – around.
Other events at Riley's include the
Apple
Blossom Festival and
Apple Butter Festival.
Where to stay when
visiting Riley's beautiful location?
Redlands is going to be your best bet for
accommodations.
Best Western Sandman Inn is our top choice for
hotels. Only 10 to 15 minutes by car from the concert
venue, you'll find approximately 6 hotels available in
Redlands that sits at the base of the San Bernardino
mountain range where the mountain resort of
Big Bear Lake is located.
