Fair ON The Beach
Aug. 4-15, 2010 venturacountyfair.org
Ventura, California--Western Nights and
Carnival Lights will feature outstanding
entertainment at the beach. Show above was a
past fair event featuring Charlie Daniels.
The fair includes top entertainment,
livestock competition, home crafts, arts,
cooking contests, games, music, prizes, and
the carnival with a midway and latest thrill
rides. There's also a large selection of
rides for tots, and youngsters.
Food vendors will include all the
favorites--barbeque, berries, ice cream,
shakes, sodas, funnel cakes and more. As the
only California Fair located right at the
beach, the weather is almost always perfect
during this event. If fairs bring you down
because of the heat (often the Mid-State
Fair in Paso Robles is reaches 100 degrees),
then Ventura is the solution to your fair
passion. While there are
over 50
fair events in California, don't miss
the best--a combo of beach, ocean, city and
rural environment, all in one spot.
Bands, entertainment, cost of admission, and
hours of operation change each year so it is
best to check the web site as info is
