July 9, 10, 11, 12, 2009, San Jose Convention Center   The South Hall of the Convention Center 435 South Market Street, San Jose, CA 95113 hotsanjosenights.com   San Jose, California Car Show, Hot San Jose Nights, is a new Special Event   San Jose, CA -- Hot San Jose Nights was created by Mike Hennessy (Hennessy Automotive, Car Guy Channel TV Show, and KNRY Radio personality), an individual who's been very involved with automotive events throughout California for over 25 years. Hosted at the San Jose Convention Center in July 2009, this event invites owners of cars 1984 and older to register in categories that include: Cars, trucks and motorcycles pre-1984.   Hot San Jose Nights is committed to providing affordable family fun centered around Classic and Special Interest Automobiles, motorcycles, and complimentary events, while showcasing the greater San Jose Area. This is a great opportunity to bring all car clubs together in one massive event!   Spectators looking at the classic vehicles at the different Show -n-Shine Venues that will be set up around town free to the public for viewing are invited to attend.   In addition to opportunities to enter and compete against other classic cars, visitors to the event can browse  80,000 square feet of displays, attend a car parts swap meet, and attend a variety of events and entertainment. Attractions will include: Kruse International's Classic Car Auction; Special classic vehicle displays in this special Show 'N Shine; BAE Systems Military Tank Display; and  Automotive Exhibits and Vendor Displays. The Official Hot San Jose Nights Swap Meet (only used automotive parts, please!) and Car Corral (sell any breed of car or motorcycle!) will be at  the San Jose Flea Market! * Sign up to be one of the 1500 Registered Participants to show and display your car in one of the Show -n- Shine Venues. * Register your car to the South Hall indoor facility if you have a Show Vehicle with a Show Display such as mirrors, turntable, special surround, etc. You will be judged both on your display and your vehicle. * Become a Vendor to sell wares at areas set up inside of the South Hall (Convention Center indoor location) * Attend the Classic Car Auction in the South Hall as a seller of a car, a bidder of a car, or just a spectator of the auction. * Purchase a ticket to go inside of the South Hall and enjoy the exhibits and special Display Cars and Auction. * Sell your automotive related stuff at the Official Hot San Jose Nights Swap Meet at The San Jose Flea Market. * Sell your car at the Official Hot San Jose Nights Car Corral at The San Jose Flea Market. Registered Participant: * Reserved parking for your classic vehicle in your very own spot at your assigned Show-n-Shine Venue for all 4 days! You can relax knowing that your parking spot for the event is covered! * Your classic vehicle will be eligible to be judged for one of the many awards to be handed out on Sunday for the Best of the Best in each category! * A goodie bag filled with official Free Hot San Jose Nights merchandise, discount coupons, and more! * Mike's crew will be filming for the Car Guy Channel during the entire event, and the Registered Participants will receive a copy of the DVD, and have an opportunity to have their vehicle filmed for the HSJN of DVD. * Entry to South Hall: view the Classic Car Auction, the Show Car Displays, the BAE Systems Military Tank Display, and Automotive Vendor Displays * 2 Tickets for one of two special Hot San Jose Nights Dinners * 2 Tickets to the Capital Drive-In Theater and be able to participate in their special Hot San Jose Nights Registered Participants ONLY Classic Vehicle Cruise and Show-n-Shine, (Dinner Choice #1) Special Dinner with live music and Beer Garden before the movie starts, all included. * 2 Tickets to attend the Holiday Inn Dinner Choice #2 Special Event Dinner available only to Registered Participants. * Special Parking for your Classic vehicle in the Hot San Jose Nights Registered Participant section at Bay 101 when you visit. * Be able to join in on the Classic Vehicles Parades (Cruises) scheduled at intervals around town. * A limited number of lucky Hot San Jose Night Participants will be able to sign up to view the Jacques Littlfeild Military Vehicle Collection, it is the largest of it's kind.
