12th Annual Basset Hound Spring Games Presented by Basset Hound
Rescue of Southern California Proudly
Saturday, May 16th, 2009, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Arcadia, CA – Basset Hound Rescue of Southern California is proud to
present its 12th Annual Spring Games at Arcadia Park in Arcadia,
California.
Treat Toss, Competition Drooling, Kissing Contest, the Agility
Course, Marathon Napping, Synchronized Swimming, the Basset-Boxer Relay,
and much more. Also included is an amazing raffle, good food, lots of
booths to shop at, and of course, the Basset Hound Rescue Merchandise
table where you can find all things Basset Hound.
All of the proceeds from this event go to saving Basset Hounds in
shelters and on the streets, getting them necessary veterinary care,
rehabilitating them, and finding them forever-homes. Basset Hound Rescue
of Southern California has been working to save Basset Hounds in need
for over 11 years, and saves an average of 45 Basset Hounds annually.
Basset Hound Rescue of Southern California is a 501c corporation (a
not-for-profit organization) and is funded solely through private
donations and the generosity of people that love Basset Hounds. All
donations are tax deductible. Funds are also raised throughout the year
via the annual Howl-lelujah Chorus at the Annual Doo-Dah Parade in
Pasadena, CA; and at the monthly Breakfast With Bassets gatherings in
Huntington Beach, CA.
