Lavender Festival. 4th annual Lavender
Festival at Green Acres Lavender Farm includes
green themes, vendors, musical entertainment,
locally grown and locally made products, and a
beautiful farm setting to enjoy the day. The
event runs 2 weekends, July 11-12; and July

CARLSBAD - Carlsbad Triathlon. 28th
Annual event is one of the world's top 5 longest
running triathlons. It is a sprint distance
race, consisting of a 1K Swim, 25K Bike, and 5K
Run. The course begins at Tamarack Surf Beach
and follows the coastline of Carlsbad past
scenic beaches, lagoons and wildlife preserves.
It boasts an ocean swim, a rolling bike course
and a smooth run for the finish. Time: 8 a.m. to

MESA - Orange County Fair. Orange County
Fair is one of the most popular urban fairs in
the U.S. Pig races, people contests, carnival
rides, food, fun, and loads of live
entertainment and fun for the entire family.

Annual Los Altos Arts & Wine Festival in
downtown Los Altos features the work of artists
from across the Western U.S., wine from a half
dozen of the region’s finest vintners and a wide
variety of food. Free concerts throughout the
day with bands such as free concerts from
performers such as California Beach Boys, Double
Funk Crunch, Debbie Thacker, and The WoogieMen.
Rides and activities in the Kidzone make for a

The 17th Annual art festival attracts thousands

as Raku ware, Ikebana dishes, Stunning ceramic
