This Santa Barbara resort is not for those who have to worry about their pennies.  It is a luxury resort, located along the winding roads that weave along residential neighborhoods where homes stand behind tall, gated stone fences. The Four Seasons (Biltmore, the sign at the entrance says), offers service.  From the time you drive up red paved entrance, you expect customer care and you get it here. 

The beach provides a setting you will not soon forget..  There's paved walkways along the ocean and a small set of steps leading to sand to sink your feet in.  Views of the Channel Islands to the west and Stearns Wharf to the north are spectacular.
